SAP Consulting & Development, Competent and Flexible

For some years now, the procedural development in the SE80 has been gradually replaced by new concepts and techniques. Object-oriented ABAP development (ABAP-OO) is becoming increasingly widespread, especially in the development of medium-sized to large projects. At the same time the ABAP Development Tools (ADT) established themselves in Eclipse after a sluggish release and are the officially recommended method by SAP for the implementation in the S4 system. Thanks to its flexibility, Eclipse is regarded as the standard tool for implementation in some languages and can be adapted to individual requirements by means of numerous extensions.

STELACON now offers a training course for the use of ADT in Eclipse in order to allow the advantages of the techniques to come to bear optimally in your company. If required, we can also introduce the participants to the basics of object-oriented programming in ABAP and its maintenance.

In the one- to two-day workshop, the most important information as well as various tips and tricks are conveyed in a mixture of theory and practice. All employees work on the system and can ask questions during and after the tutorials. For further technical or process-relevant questions, a session will of course be provided at the end of the workshop.

The following contents await you in this workshop:

  • ABAP Development Tools & Eclipse
  • Installation and Settings
  • ABAP Development in Eclipse
  • Maintenance and Testing in Eclipse
  • Test Driven Development

At STELACON we live the flexibility and tailor all solutions to the needs of our customers. This also applies to our workshops. Therefore, you are welcome to clarify in advance which topics you see an increased need for in your company or which points are not relevant for you.
